How To Backup
During major updates of the client, sometimes the keybindings may get overwritten or lost. The best way to prevent this happening, is to backup your key bindings before any update.
file can be found here :
- C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings
- Take a copy of your Custom1.8.binds

Just restore the backup file in the same place
