Whilst buzzing through some canyons on a little moon 1 kylie from Sol tonight, I came across some silicate vapour geysers. The size of these geysers took me by surprise. They are much larger than the fumaroles and water geysers I have seen. These have been added in 2.2 The Guardians, the latest patch update.
In Astronomy terms, Silicate is used to denote types of rock that consist predominantly of silicate minerals. On Earth, a wide variety of silicate minerals occur in an even wider range of combinations as a result of the processes that form and re-work the earths crust.
